How to keep a new fitness routine

January is a very busy time for gyms and movement classes alike. It's awesome to see so many new faces around.


However, I encourage you to show up for the right reasons.


To maintain new fitness habits over the long term, you need to stop setting unrealistic goals based solely on weight loss results. Instead, incorporate the kind of movement that you enjoy and look forward to!


Finding a way to move your body that is about treating yourself, instead of punishing yourself, will help improve your overall health long term.


Look after yourself, and be kind to your mind, and body. It's all you can rely on.
